I personally I sometimes like to test out my own gaming hardware before buying.
I am lucky enough to be able to do this as I have a friend who is even crazier than I am when it comes to gaming. He simply purchases almost all gaming hardware that is the “next big thing”.
This is where I come along and “borrow” his stuff and test them out for review and offer my conclusion of the product.
Recently, I started to get some pains on my wrist from too much mouse movement while gaming.
I heard that the Cougar Minos X5 had a unique shape with a polling rate of 2000hz and wondered if this would help my wrist a little.
Unfortunately, my friend did not have this mouse amongst the 10s if not 100s of mice he has collected over the years.
So I did a little digging and discovered this Cougar Minos X5 review http://www.clutchkills.com/cougar-minos-x5-review/ by Clutchkills which is short but sweet.
It has broken down several aspects of the mouse, but I was more interested in the comfort aspect. How it grips, it user-friendliness, the overall feel on the buttons and wheel… even as far as the clicks (click sound can be annoying, but also the depression force can make a difference to how your wrist feels over the months of hard gaming.
It turns out the Minos X5 unique shape and size is not the most comfortable but has been designed to make aiming for more accurate, which is great, but not good for my wrist
Maybe I need to give gaming a little rest 😦
